– insane things I make to keep me sane –

About Me

I’ve always loved building stuff.  Making cockpits out of cardboard boxes, messing around with my Dad’s tools, melting army men with propane torches, squishing things in the vice, wrapping my GI Joe in tape like a mummy and burying him in the dirt.  Add an obsession with Science Fiction and Monster movies, and you have the proper foundation of a twisted imagination needing some kind of creative outlet.

Jump forward to the present, and I still love building stuff (and squishing things in the vise). I’ve been incredibly lucky to have a job in the film industry that for over 30 years has allowed me to basically do the same things I did in our garage with Dad’s tools (but get paid to do it).

About 16 years ago, the job changed a bit and a large part of my work is now done with computers.   But the love of creating things with my hands has remained a constant.

And that, will be the main focus here.

Thanks for visiting!

  2. I remember those days long ago and I knew you would do wonderful things with your gifts. I found an old photo of you and Rick…we had a blast and laughed so much, I am thankful for those memories. Miss you.
